The
high-precision dependable cartridge is one kind
of consumable sensors, which is set on the holder
assembly of CE meter. It is used for measuring
CE of molten iron, AE of aluminium melt or carbon
content of molten steel. The creteria for high-precision
cup are : coincidence of heat content and heat
conductivity, smaller heat inertness of sensor
and high accuracy for temperature measurement
from different lots of cup.
The simplest method to evaluate
cartridge quality is:
Under same conditions of temperature
and composition of the molten iron, take samples
and measure continuously. Comparing the differences
of liquidus and solidus temperature from different
cups, you can conclude that the smaller the
difference, the better the quality. |
